Well done to these children who have achieved sporting certificates, trophies and medals outside of school time.

Our ‘girls’ football club started this afternoon in preparation for the first ever ATSA Girls Football League which starts in January.

I attended the ATSA meeting yesterday where all schools were given their ATSA directory for 2019/20. There are lots of events and taster sessions to look forward to this academic year. Furthermore, there are BRAND NEW competitions including the first ever ‘Girls Football Leage’. It is going to be an exciting year for sports in the Atherton/Tyldesley area.

Congratulations to the Y2 and Y1 children who competed at the Manchester United KS1 finals today. They should be very proud of their achievement – 3rd place overall.
